The incoming product remains supported by the conveyor belts until it reaches the intended position; at that point, the system lowers, transferring the product’s support from the belts to the cross rollers, which allow it to be moved laterally toward the next section of the line. This mechanism for transferring the product between different conveying elements allows for smooth and controlled changes in the flow direction, without manual intervention and in accordance with the precision required by the upstream and downstream printing and binding stages.
